Placed over the front of teeth, porcelain veneers are used to address a number of common cosmetic dental concerns. Sized, shaped, and colored to fit seamlessly into your smile, porcelain veneers are commonly used to perfect teeth marred by:

  • Chips and cracks
  • Uneven spacing or gaps
  • Irregular sizing
  • Crooked presentation
  • Severe discoloration

If your smile is impacted by any of these issues, Fresno cosmetic dentist Dr. Gregory Miyake would be happy to meet with you to assess your needs and help you determine if porcelain veneers are right for you.

Instant Orthodontics

Porcelain veneers are sometimes called instant orthodontics due to their ability to correct cosmetic bite issues over the course of just a few weeks. While not exactly “instant,” compared to the years it can take braces to close gaps and restore alignment, the two to three weeks necessary for the creation and placement of veneers is negligible.

Porcelain veneers are a wonderful solution for minor malocclusion, but are not always right for more pronounced alignment issues. During your initial consultation Dr. Miyake will examine your teeth and discuss all of your options to ensure you are choosing the solution ideal for your smile.
